Visited the Ellis Island yesterday where millions of emigrants arrived in the hopes of new and better lives in the US.
The hope, courage and great extectations were still possible to feel in the air.
I am curious to know what these people were thinking, what they were expecting from a country they couldnt google before their arrival. Seems they didnt care about the language issue, logement and employment problems incredible.
This is already a point to say the US is a great country as much of it was built by wha we would say today "crazy people'.
